2000 Lincoln LS review from North America

To start off I traded in my Tahoe because of the gas mileage. Never had a single problem with it.

Bought my 2000 Lincoln Ls in May 2006. Between that time and now which would only be 3 1/2 months I have had nothing, but problems with it. First thing that started going wrong was a jerking when I gave it gas. Gas mileage went from about 24 mpg to about 13 mpg. Turned out to be a coil which was replaced. Lights on radio buttons do not work anymore, front driver side window is making a popping noise which means it is probably going to go out soon, airbag light on dash blinks continually or will just stay on at all times. Have had that problem fixed twice and it is still blinking. Gas mileage has dropped back down to 15 mpg so another coil is probably going to go out, heater will not work in car, sometimes makes a roaring noise when I give it gas and then this morning car overheated. Turned engine off and re-cranked it and temperature went back to normal.

Called dealership this morning and they said that there were no recalls on this car. How is is this possible? I would rather go back to the gas guzzler I had before then to continue to have problems with this car. Ford should be so ashamed of themselves for the way this car was made.

The only thing this car has going for it is it looks good.
