2000 Lincoln LS review from North America

Beginning to "stall and stop running" on a weekly basis as I'm sitting idle. The battery light comes on instantly before this happens.

Sensors are going hay wire informing me that "trunk is ajar", "check transmission", "check brake light" etc.

Windows and sunroof periodically come down when the car is running or not running.

One incident of burning smell in the cabin when the car quit running.

Drivers side headlight is filled with condensation.

Hesitation in shifting of the transmission.

Battery is draining, but alternator is charging.

Check advance traction control comes on when you turn the key and the car won't start.

Blown brake light.

I have had my 2000 Lincoln LSV8 for 10 months. The day after I brought it home it stalled out. This should have been my first warning sign.

I have not put any major money into the car yet, but I know it's only a matter of time before things start shutting down for good and will require repair.

I would not advice anyone to purchase one of these cars. Yes, they are beautiful to the eye, but will probably end up being a money pit in the end. Guess I should have done the proper research before purchasing.

I took it to the Lincoln service center and had a complete diagnostic check. Nothing came back that something is wrong.

Frankly, I'm a little nervous to drive the car not knowing when it may shut off.

I'm currently looking to get rid of my Lincoln LS and purchase something else. Of course, with all of the proper research.
