Only had it for 3 days. The engine does idles a little rough sometimes. When I turn on the air or turn the steering wheel at idle you can feel the engine shake a little. Pulls to the right a little and the steering feels a bit loose. Ride is bumpy and a little noisy with a few minor squeaks. Steering shakes a little during hi speed braking, probably warped rotors. One ding on drivers side door.
I paid $5500 for this car and had it just 3 days now. Got it from a used car dealer that let me inhouse finance it. I put $2500 down with 1 year to pay it off. It has been my passion for several months to find the best possible car in the best possible condition for the best price and I think I found it. I found some better deals, but they were all thousands of miles away. It's a silver LSC with the tan leather interior and its got the 290 hp. I was going to get a 2000 Grand Prix with 114K, but I'm glad I didn't. So far I am very impressed with this car, I can't wait to drive it every morning. It seems like the previous owner took very good care of it. The car is very clean inside and out. The body is very clean with one ding on the drivers side door, that's it. The miles are kinda high at 122K, but the car is 10 years old. From my experience shopping around and test driving cars, I've learned that the condition of a car depends on well how you treat it and maintain it, not just years or miles. This Lincoln is a prime example of that. The power is awesome and the car feels very stable on the freeway. It handles well for a big car. It rides a little bumpy and I hear a few noises, but not bad for a car that's this old. I love the interior design and all the features. Makes you feel like you are in a much more expensive car. Sporty, but luxurious at the same time. Very good value for the money. The outside takes some geting used to as I am originally a import and sports car guy. Almost all my cars have been souped up Hondas, but I want to get away from that; I guess I'm maturing. The body takes some getting used to, but it does look very sleek and I'm starting to realize that looks don't matter much if it drives well. Beside the minor problems, this car is in pretty good conditon. I love the power, sound and smoothness of the V8. This is also my first RWD and V8 car. From what I've heard, its got the Mustang Cobra engine, is that right? Awesome! The engine is probably my favorite part of the car, but I'm gonna drive it conservatively and not get on the gas so much like my Hondas. My main goal is to take care of it, not to abuse it. Totally different character and feel from my Hondas. I wonder what I've been missing all those years. Once you go Lincoln that's all you'll be thinkin. Ha-ha, pretty catchy huh?
Silver with a tan interior?
Iggh.
No, silver with matching silver/grayish interior.
Yeah, silver and tan/beige really do not go together well. One of my cousins had a silver Miata with a beige interior and top and I just could not stand it!
