1998 Lincoln Navigator review from North America
"Do not, buy Lincoln Navigators or you will be sorry"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Have had to replace engine twice.
Have had to replace coils for 2 cylinders at a cost $300 per cylinder.
Rust along bottom of doors.
Engine has quit running at highway speeds many many times, and dealer cannot diagnose anything that does not show up on his computer. Ford is aware of problems and suggests changing fuel.
$2500 fix to replace air conditioner because they have to take dashboard apart..
$1700 to replace pads and rotors.
Have 270,000 miles combined on my Volvo and Blazer and have not had 10% of the problems with these cars combined as I have had with the Navigator.
General comments?
Poorly designed engine and worst dealer support.

| Looks nice, rides nice, but be ready to start coughing up money if it has mid to high mileage! |
