1984 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series review from North America
"Stylish, luxurious, and impressive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Some sort of little sensor in the engine stopped working, causing the car to stall when I removed my foot from the gas pedal. However, it was fairly cheap to fix and has been fine since.
General comments?
Truly the nicest car I've ever had. It's smooth, reliable, and well made, and you won't find anything more comfortable. It was made when cars were styled by people rather than computers, so while it may not be aerodynamically perfect, its looks are nothing short of stunning. It always gets lots of attention when I drive it, which I enjoy.
Gas mileage is about what one would expect; not too good, but not too bad either. It's just bad enough to garner a few dirty looks from tree-huggers in Geo Metros.
Overall, I'd say it's one of the greatest cars ever made, no matter how you look at it.
