1991 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car had the check engine light on right after I bought it.
It also was low on oil and tranny fluid.
I took the car in to be serviced and found that the EGR valve as shot. The mechanic actually told me that they take a cap off and can clean the carbon out most of the time.
Only other thing is the car had a bad spark plug wire.
Only other thing I was warned about is a loose fitting gas cap can cause a check engine warning.
General comments?
I love this car!!!
It's comfortable and rides great.
I am having the little bit of damage to the fender fixed and the car painted because I am keeping this car for a long time.
