1994 Lincoln Town Car signature from North America - Comments

"I want to keep it forever!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The original starter went at just over 106,000 miles.

Replaced rear air suspension at 135,000 with shocks and springs for a reasonable $260. The ride is almost as good as the airbags!

The heater and air/conditonier. fan just works on hi and low, but not a huge incoveniece.

Buttons for heater are cracked and light shines through.

The windshild wipers act up when put on intermittened settings... I think the wand on the steering wheel is just worn out after 11+ years of use and needs replacing.

General comments?

I absoultly Love this car it is the most reliable, and best looking car I have every owned. It just hums on the highway at 75 mph while averaging 25mpg (21.5 mpg off highways). It is amazing how good the acceelration, breaking and steering is for a two ton bohemoth. I can make a turn using my little finger. It has awesome pick up with the dual exhaust. I guesstimated it my self at 0-60 in just over 7 sec. I'd love to keep this car forever if I could, but I'd be happy until 200,000 miles. My next car will definitly be another 90's Town car. Maybe I can find a grandma & grandpa with a low mileage 94-97 in their garage for sale.
