1995 Lincoln Town Car Cartier review from North America
"Fine Transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 388,000-miles this car still runs like new.
Eletric windows went out.
Catylic Converter-only one went bad.
Heated seats do not work now.
Transmission went bad at 280,000-miles.
Rebuilt.
Rear air ride suspension went flat. Needed new bags and pump motor.
Everything else is original.
The engine does use oil, but does not leak anything.
General comments?
Super reliable car.
Has paid for itself over and over.
Car used as private taxi for large company. Contracted to me. I own the car.
The clear coat is starting to peel off on the roof of the car and on the top of the fenders.
A few bulbs have burned out on the dash.
I plan to have the car repainted and put another 150,000-miles or so on it. I will have to update to a newer body style soon. Image.
You cannot wear one of these cars out as long as the engine oil is changed out every 3000-miles or so.
