1997 Lincoln Town Car collector signature series review from North America
"I would love to keep it forever! The only car I ever fell asleep in car I ever fell asleep in."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Signal module went at 852000.
My manifold cracked at 854000.
Sway bar bushings & center link went at 85,400.
Rear center link and bushings replaced at 90,000 which is tomorrow.
General comments?
I love this car.
Its classy and rides like a million bucks. Floaty. Its quick, and maintains high speed well, without shaking or sputtering. I love the body style, 1997 last of the big ones. I am very dissapointed in the manifold cracking, when the mechanic removed it, I was shocked to see it was plastic. It was possibly made by Fisher Price. For a car that retails new at 49,000 dollars, a plastic manifold.
