2007 Mazda 3 Sport 5-door review from North America
"Fun, fast, and easy to drive; it just screams: "Drive me!""
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Flawless so far.
General comments?
This car handles amazingly well; rock solid and sure-footed. I don't know how anyone can think the ride is harsh.
Interior has a good overall balance between sporty and competent practicality. Dials,, knobs, display, etc. are easy to use and well-placed. Only (minor) complaint is that the red-lit center-tunnel controls are bordering on a bit too whiz-bang-gizmo in looks. Luckily the radio "beep & flash" can be turned off. And look at that... a glove-compartment that can hold more than just gloves! (a small child could fit! LOL)
We love this car! We had originally planned to get the new Jetta - but were very disappointed with its body style "squishy feel." We had never considered a Japanese car before - not caring for the all-too generic and uninspired Toyota/Nissan/Honda offerings. The Mazda caught us by surprise. As my wife commented: "This is how the Jetta is supposed to feel!"
