2007 Mazda 3 S-touring 5 door (hatchback) review from North America

Nothing mechanically. Only thing is that my windshield is cracked from a rock that bounced off another car. Routine oil changes and tire rotation so far.

I absolutely love this little zippy car! My previous car was Chevy Malibu 98 - which was a complete money pit. The braking on my 3 is awesome - it stops on a dime. Also when I was purchasing this car I was debating on whether I should buy the 2006 model ready to take home from the dealership or if I should special order the 2007 model - I decided to wait a month for the 2007 because of the added features of stability and traction control and I am so happy I went that way. The traction control is great on snow - definitely a must have on a smaller car like this.

I was afraid that having 4 people in this car would be a drag, but the car handled really well and everybody was comfortable. The car also has a great mileage, I do not know exactly how many miles per gallon it is, but the tank is almost 12 gallons and I will get between 180 - 300 miles on it. In winter time it is less - between 240 - 250. I do a lot of city and mixed driving. I would not change this car for anything, I absolutely love how I can cut corners with it... The True Red color is stunning - especially after I wash the car.
