1988 Mazda 323 Base review from North America
"Very reliable, and fun to drive car."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The driver's seat nylon cover ripped,
but was replaced under warranty.
General comments?
I change the timing belt every 60K, engine oil every 3K, antifreeze every
3 years, and check the front end bearings, arms, boots, and change the spark plugs, wires, and distributor cap, about every 60K.
Buy 3rd party replacement parts with
a life-time warranty, and have a 3rd
party mechanic do the installation, except on the "timing belt".
