1993 Mazda 323 F review from UK and Ireland
"A great budget package"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Electric windows stuck down on driver's side.
General comments?
I bought this car as a economic quick replacement for an expired Rover 216 and although I've only had the car about ten months I have been very impressed with both it's reliability and performance.
It got through it's MOT without a glitch, which is fairly impressive for a ten year old car.
The only trouble I've had in ten months was the electric window jamming on the driver's side which meant a wet right shoulder by the time I got home as it was just starting to rain, but mechanically it has been perfectly sound.
The performance is also very impressive for a car in this budget; mine is the sixteen valve model and pulls horses quite nicely, whilst the handling is also very good, pointing the car exactly where you want it with the minimum of roll.
Overall a very good buy if you are looking for a cheap slightly outdated runabout.
The cheesy eighties pop up lights are also a bonus!
