1992 Mazda 323 Interplay review from Indonesia
"Not extraordinary"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I maintained the car well and only used it for very short range (daily from home to office, only 2-3 km).
The engine was problem free and smooth. The only problem is after sales support. Mazda is not a big brand here, where the market is dominated by Toyota and Honda. The support then sometimes is inadequate.
Secondary market for Mazda sedan is very thin, so it was difficult when I tried to sell it in 2001.
General comments?
In Indonesia, Mazda is a niche player and several times tried to penetrate the market with new models. The effort seems unsuccessful as some Korean brands finally exceeded its sales.
