2003 Mazda 6 Classic review from Australia and New Zealand
"A fantastic versatile car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Passenger Sunvisor wouldn't go up to be flush with the roof, was easily fixed.
General comments?
This is a car I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. I desired its design, and slowly and progressively realised how much this car had on offer. As its km's progressed, the engine became more alive, responsive and sporty. The pitch and grunt changed after 1500km's, and right up until 18000km I was amused at its development. Then came 19000km, a trip to the local mazda dealer, and she roared. Usually when in "manual" mode taking off and accelerating hard would push my head back slightly, for the first time ever my head snapped back. (obviously not to the extent you'd experience in a v8)
A few quick comments about everything else, controls are well designed and driver friendly, auto in "manual" mode is very compliant to ur inputs, great for a bit of fun, seats very comfortable, v. large boot, ample leg room, great driving position, as everyone else has said it has mind blowing handling and grip.
