1995 Mazda 626 LX review from North America
"A major lemon. Mazda could do better"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I own a Mazda 626. I purchased my 95' 626 LX in April of 1998. My transmission has went out twice once at 103,000 miles and again at 123,000 miles. The things that I am speaking of are my timing belt, my alignment is a joke I need tires more then I need brakes. Also, my CV joints and the list goes on. My car is in desperate need of a recall. I paid 2, 468.38 to have it fixed and as soon as my warranty was up 6 months later, my trans dropped again. I think that I may have paid more to have my car fixed then the cost of the car itself. I am very unhappy with Mazda's now. I think if they knew they have this many problems with the 626 that it should have been recalled a long time ago. Jesus Christ, I had kids in the car in the middle of no where. The 95' Mazda 626 in my opinion has been a lemon hiding right from assembly.
