"Very high maintenance car, buyer beware"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The transmission went out at 45-50 thousand miles, Had to have a new one.

One month after the new transmissin was

installed the o/d light blinks off, and

on all the time. The car jerks, vibrates horrible. Has a hard time shifting into gear (automatic), at times I have to put the car in neutral, and turn it off. Then I restart and it will run fine for awhile. The brakes always need replaced. Something is always wrong with the tires either bald or all four have a leak. The car is very sluggish, and is the worst car I have ever owned. The alignment is always messed up.I will never own another vehicle from mazda... Anyone with any information on the lawsuit, I would like to have my name on it. Thank You.

General comments?

This car is the most sluggish, poorly made car I have ever owned.

It is very nice that we are getting this information about MAZDA 626. The hard earned money should rather be spent on a car that would not trouble your days or give you night mares. I was thinking of buying one, but now that I have seen this reviews I have made up my case as it concerns my initial feelings about Mazda.

Thanks so much.

I agree that the Mazda 626 LX automatic 2.0L and various years before and after use a transmission that is built to fall apart as mine has done. If you don't mind replacing your gently handled and pampered transmission once every few years, this is the car for you. Mazda knows that this car has transmission troubles, but they aren't interested in rectifying this. Consumer beware.
