1994 Mazda 626 LX review from North America
"I have never wasted $2000 for buying the car and $2000 in repairs so quickly in my entire life"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I sold my car yesterday, the beginning of February.
Since I got this car at the beginning of June, I have replaced all of the brake pads, calibers, the master cylinder, proportional valve, water pump, timing belt, alignment, lower control arm, thermostat and rear sway bar links.
Everything is packed under the hood and the engine is in sideways.
My thermostat cost $135 to get replaced because it was a 2 hour job as opposed to a 15 minute job on any other car. The water pump cost $450.
The car eats gas and the only time I wasn't throwing money away on this car is during the 3 months that it just sat because the brakes were bad and no one knew that it was the proportional valve.
Do yourself a favor and do your research before buying this car!
