1999 Mazda 626 ES V6 review from North America
"Great car for college students!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
1. Both headlights
2. The Tach and odo lights are starting to get dim
3. The "bose" cd player doesn't track home made cds well and needs to be cleaned about once a week.
General comments?
I believe this car is a champ since I've brought it (October 1, 2006) I've put a little over 4000 miles on it mostly highway. I would urge people shopping for a 626 to stay away from the 4-banger simply because they have tha most problem. (why did mazda stop using tha 2.2L engines in 1993? I have a '91 626LX as 3rd a vehicle and it STILL runs like a champ at 242,300miles) but overall this car would be ideal for anyone looking for a low-cost, fuel efficient, spacious vehicle. I don't really like the seats, I wish it had a lumbar support (I'm 6'3 and long trips require a stretch break, didn't need that in my 95 accord). Also my model has a spoiler and sometimes it feels like somethings loose like tha spare tire, also my rear shocks may need replacing.
