1990 Mazda 929 Luxuty review from Australia and New Zealand
"One fast moving luxury mobile"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power windows don't close all the way up and require manual assistance (I hope to get that fixed soon)
Tyres get bald too quickly.
General comments?
This is a very rare and unique car which I was able to purchase at a giveaway price.
It has a $4000 stereo installed which has great bass.
This car has electric everything. The mirrors even fold in and it has built in foglights and a front mount intercooler.
It looks like a real gangstermobile.
This car has amazing performance(due to it's 185kW+) and breaks traction very easily (which I found out when I nearly flipped the thing at 80km/h on a dry straight). It's very fun, but very dangerous to drive and also has good economy for a car it's size.
I've dragged and beaten three WRX's and a few other Jap cars to date. It is seriously quick especially when you dump the clutch at around 5000rpm.
Even though this car is more expensive to insure and harder to customize I prefer it over my Vn Commodore for comfort, reliability, economy and performance.
