1994 Mazda 929 review from North America
"It is the best built vehicle I have ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced transmission at 120,000 miles.
Rear window regulators became inoperative at 180,000 miles.
CD changer in trunk became inoperative due to excessive heat. (I live in the desert.)
General comments?
I purchased the vehicle new in 1994 and have owned it for over 10 years. I have never considered trading or selling it.
The style is still relevant for a 10-year old vehicle.
Highway driving is a delight, as it hugs the road and handles nimbly with it's wide stance.
I traded in a 1989 Mazda 929 for the 1994 model. The styling was a significant upgrade from the 1989 model.
Replacement parts can be expensive, with very few after-market alternatives.
