1987 Mazda B2000 review from North America
"Can take what you dish out, incredibly tough"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket blew after striking a deer.
Rust around wheel wells.
Tailgate handle broken when I bought the truck.
Vent deflectors broken.
Roof leaks.
General comments?
This is without a doubt the toughest little truck I've ever owned, has taken all the abuse I could throw at it and still hauls all the dirt, sand a b&b
nursery plants I can carry to the job.
Whoever owned this truck before me hauled serious loads in the bed and on the hitch to the point where a leaf spring failed and was replaced by me.
A deer smashed into the radiator and I was still able to drive fifty miles home.
I installed a wrecked bed-liner which is responsible for holding the bed together.
A truck repairman told me this Mazda b2000 has a bullet proof gearbox.
