1989 Mazda B2200 b2200 review from North America
"Very good bargain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has "gone" wrong.. but it did need new tires, brakes, muffler, paint job, bumper, air filter, fuel filter and a oil change.
Shampooed the carpets and vavvoooom... nice little pickup truck.
For as many Km's it has gone through it is in really well interior condition and the outside has next to nothing rust.
The pretty sky blue paint is faded a bit which a homemade paintjob can fix.
Make a new heavy duty bumper... but not too "heavy" haha, doesn't workout for the truck.
Did the muffler, brakes and changed the filters myself with guidance from my Father.
Cheap, Cheap, Cheap... especially with 14' rim tires... 35 bucks a piece? CHEAP!
The man who sold me the truck said the motor was "weak".. but it runs pretty nice considering the kms.
50-60 bucks to fill the tank... it's a lot but it lasts even longer! Well it does for me because I taker easy on my truck.. ahaha...
$600 to purchase the truck, not bad investment if I do say so myself.
General comments?
Very nice pickup if you find one in good condition. Good first vehicle... not a get up and go vehicle... a putt putt I guess you can say.
