1987 Mazda B2200 SE-5 review from North America
"Reliable truck with a small engine that can do big things"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The radiator went bad and had to be replaced.
Replaced 2 belts.
The key ignition switch went bad and had to be replaced.
The ignition coil and module had to be replaced.
Thermostat had to be replaced.
General comments?
Other than the repair work that has been done to the truck, this Mazda is pretty reliable. It only stopped on me one time and that was because of a bad coil and module.
I upgraded the exhaust system and made it a cat-back; now it has a deep mellow tone that I enjoy and it increased the horsepower. I also added a K&N filter to increase horsepower. Instead of the transmission downshifting in hills, it uses the added horsepower and keeps on pushing. I wish it had more low end torque and a better differential...
