"Top quality at a low price"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing!

General comments?

This is a follow up to my 40k review. I just passed 50k and still no problems at all.

I cured the pinging problem by installing a k & n air filter. I can now get 32/34 mpg highway on regular fuel.

Overall this continues to be an excellent truck. it looks brand new- high quality paint.

Hey, what is this k&n filter, I should get one of those, what exactly does it do, does it like give you better fuel economy.

The K&N filter lets the air flow through easier, and you get more power, and better gas mileage as well.

Actually a K&N filter will give you worse fuel economy. If you allow more air to get into the engine, the computer will adjust the air fuel ratio to stay within a consistent parameter, and if you add air, you will add fuel as well.

Unless the air intake is SOOO restricted that the engine has to really struggle to make any power, and thereby using up more fuel in the laborious effort, you will not notice any fuel economy increase.
