1995 Mazda Millenia review from North America
"Looks great, but don't get too attached to it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought my 95 Millenia in July of 2006 with 96K miles on it. It ran great until it hit about 100K miles. The ABS stopped working, so I pulled the fuse to avoid this irritation. Next, the check engine light came on. The light disappeared after I sat it for a week while away on vacation. But, now with 102K miles, the light has returned and the car is running rough. I take care of this car above and beyond the regular preventative maintenance, but things keep breaking. This car is (mechanically) THE MOST FRUSTRATING vehicle of the many I have owned and driven. My good friend is a professional mechanic and refuses to bother working on it for me. On the plus side, the car looks great. The seats are very comfortable and the ride is smooth and powerful. Unless you have a bottomless wallet, avoid this car. The repairs are much too expensive and much too frequent. Get a Honda-they are more common and easier to work on.
