"Love it!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing.

General comments?

We love our MPV! We come from a family of Chrysler minivans (Caravan and Voyagers). They simply do not compare to the quality of the Mazda Minivan.

Lots of power, all the bells and whistles. Very comfortable on long trips. We especially like the stadard dual sliding doors and the hide-away third seat. We would highly recommend this minivan to anyone.

3.2 automatic?

I thought the mpv's were remodeled and that the 2000 came with a 2.5l ford eng.

The Second Review Is Correct. The 2000 Mazda MPV's were redesigned and come with only the 2.5L Duratech engine borrowed from the Ford Contour, and Mercury Mystique, I've heard nothing, but problems with. I have a 1996 Marda MPV and have the 3.0L V6 DOHC engine which is torquey, but sluggish at times and gas mileage is the same as my 4.3L V6 VORTEC MPFI Chevrolet Truck?? mazda needs to think more about budgets in the future for gas, that's rediculous theres only a small V6 in this van and weighs nothing... but reliability is the best as by far had no problems, either with my chevy with approaching 300,000KM and still ticking and believe it or not only oil changes, and tires, and, sparkplugs maybe twice. Recommend 1997 Chevy C1500 or 1996 Mazda MPV or 1987 Nissan KING CAB, all by far the most Reliable trouble free Vehicles.
