1992 Mazda MX3 review from North America
"Sucks"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well here we go.
When I first bought the car, I loved it, and just really wanted a car I think.
So I got the car, washed it all up and noticed that the paint job was terrible with scratches left and right, hood faded, top faded. The paint job on these cars are VERY bad.
After I had done all of this, I noticed something leaking, turned out it was antifreeze, replaced the freeze out plug, replaced water pump, still leaking. Replaced hoses; still leaking, putting a clamp on the main hose for reinforcement seemed to fix it.
Heat sucks, burns water, odometer is broken, drinks the hell out of gas, rides rough, seats are hard, idles roughly, rear ended 2 poles and 3 cars from it dying when I put it in reverse.
The good things; it has a nice sound system, CD player/tape player, handles nice, ummm??
General comments?
I just wish that I was as happy as everyone else is with this car. Unfortunately I guess people tend to get lemons and I have one. My poor Mazda has no power and uses so much gas I could be driving a V8 Mercedes-Benz.
Parts were amazingly expensive for this car (Me thinks people are fixing them up, and manufacturers jack the prices up). Anyways, I wouldn't buy another one of these, unless it was gave to me. It's a nice car, don't get me wrong, but has problems.
