1992 Mazda MX3 review from UK and Ireland
"Exciting low budget performance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since I bought the car toward the end of 2003, I have had to replace the front brakes with two new caliper sets.
The brakes are still poor so it maybe
requires brake pipes replacing?
I replaced the exhaust back-box and a cooling sensor which was fairly cheap.
Nothing else has gone wrong so far...
General comments?
The car is fairly comfortable with body hugging bucket styled seats.
The handling isn't great, but then I need new tyres so a set of big rims may be the answer.
I have made a few modifications including 40mm lowering springs, strut brace and fitted an HKS induction kit which sounds great in high revs through each gear.
This car has serious good looks for it's age and turns heads everywhere as it revs like an F1 car!
The downside to this car, for me, is the MPG which is terrible! Averaging 20-25 to the gallon.
