1992 Mazda MX3 V6 EUNOS IMPORT review from UK and Ireland
"An economical must!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ignition amplifier failed. Leads, plugs and fuel pump were checked before fault was found. Internal components for distributor from main dealer cost around £300.00 then £50.00 to fit.
Front head gasket blew. Had to buy full kit and bolts for both heads, but also had all belts done in one job-£600.
Nearside drive shaft worn. ('Lets get rid 'o' the rumble') - needs reconditioned shaft for £170.
Non existent parcel shelf!
General comments?
I paid £700 for a japanese (eunos) import and well worth it.
Didn't expect the head to go, but I enjoyed it at the time. Worth the repairs and it gets full open throttle all the time now, sticking to the tarmac like glue.
Its fast, furious and stays up with a Jaguar xjr, subaru and even those evolutions.
