Slight ticking sound from cam gear which I believe is common. sticking sunroof, the motor struggles a little to open the sunroof, but with a bit of a push from inside voila!
Battery needed replacement not a big job.
Deep boot high sill makes loading a heavy item a bit of a mission but hey its a sports coupe!
but fold the rear seats and wow !bags of space!
Performance on this car is average to good not the quickest around, but a nice smooth acceleration!gearbox transitions are smooth, clutch is nice and easy, handling is superb can't fault it anywhere.
Plenty room in front even for me at 6" and 17 stone I find the seats comfortable and well supportive, the seatbelts are a pain and it's a bit of a struggle to get to them and fastening them is a mission too as the fastener is nestled away between the drivers seat and the centre console, but its not something I can't live with!
doors are long so give yourself some room when parking so you can get in and out.
Back seat for shorter people only there is virtually no headroom and very little legroom especially with a bigger driver pushing the seats back.
lots of glass at the back and it can be difficult to get to to clean but visibility is very good.
I own a 1993 mx3 v6 manual same as you writer ticking on engine sticking sunroof also sticking passenger window they are just minor things mine is good for age (no rust) thirsty, but I don't mind (the wife does though) love the car and I would have another 1 that's for sure.
I have just bought a 1994 MX-3 V6 and think it's fantastic!
Like the other writers comments, mine also has a sticking sunroof and a tapping sound from the engine.
I was a bit disappointed with the fuel economy, but other than that I love it.
