What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch is slipping at 220 000 Km.
Seats are worn out.. but that's only expected.
Suspension and brake calipers have been replaced by the previous owner.
The battery dies if car is left for a week or so...
KLZE engine swap was done and the drive shafts were getting warped.
Needs Ball Joints... and drive-shafts...
General comments?
Other than the problems this is one of the best cars ever made.
I am in love with this car... its the LX model with all black leather interior... bucket seats that just hug me when I'm taking those high speed corners...
Despite some of those minor/major problems the car is still an everyday driver and is very reliable... see the thing with these cars is that it can be completely messed up with major problems and it will still drive daily and smoke any civic...haha.
The KLZE is a beautiful Engine. the cream of the KL crop... these were compact v6 engines for front wheel drive mazda sport cars with short hoods... the engine is simply stunning. it was rated one of the best 10 engines in the world in 97... it was number 6!!!
The car is very fastt... will smoke Golfs. civics... and 240sx...and some mustangs... and it will out handle any of themm... amazing steering... hugs the road and throws into cornerss...
