1988 Mazda MX6 LX review from North America
"Would have been a great car, if recent owner (s) had taken care of it properly"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- Front axles went bad at 113000 miles.
- Tranny went out.
- Water pump went out.
- Motor blew.
I'm sure this car would have been a great car, but when I had bought it, I didn't know much about vehicles. Got it home, the tranny fluid was black and burnt, along with the motor oil. So I'm assuming the recent owner misstreated it. Although, when it ran, it was a wonderful lil rice rocket and it got a lot of looks.
General comments?
- Car has great potential.
- Handled around tight corners great.
- Seats were somewhat uncomfortable.
- Back space was limited.
- Had a roomy trunk.
- Was a smooth ride.
- Had a lot of get up and go.
