1993 Mazda MX6 LX review from North America
"Gorgeous car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air conditioning system broke down two years in a row for different reasons.
General comments?
Simply put (and in my opinion) the MX6 is one of the two most stylish mass produced cars in the past ten years (the Audi TT I'd say is the other one). I got mine in green with understated spoiler and tan leather interior and still looks great (this despite assorted dings from living in NYC).The car is also very well designed from an ergonomic standpoint, very comfortable, especially the seats and steering wheel. And very fast, especially (as with most Mazdas on the highway). I bought it with the automatic transmission, which I know has received very poor reviews. It has always shifted a bit harshly at low speeds (up to 40 mph) but is ferocious and smooth on the highway.
