1993 Mazda MX6 LS V6 review from North America

Well I got this car at an Auto Auction. This is what was wrong with it from the start... My car key will only unlock the passenger side door. (On the LS model the factory alarm arms it self automatically when car is turned off doors are locked and then closed.) So when I enter the car throught the passenger side with my key the cars starts to Scream an honk it's horn as if I am breaking into it. So i cannot lock my doors at all!~!! Secondly... My power sunroof swicth/Motor will not open my sunroof up at all.. I have to use the emergency crank lever ( that was graciusly left in the glove box by the former owner) to manually open up my sunroof if I want to sun bath that day.. I have gotten use to this... Thirdly... My Exhaust Pipe needed to be changed... (not a $50.00 Dollar problem...)

Fourthly... My suspension system need to be totally switched out for brand new...( Not a $50.00 Doller problem)

And Fifthly... I Had to get new spark plugs and sprak plug wires for my baby...

I these little problems sound like a pain, but they are all ($50. fix its)

I never spent more than $50. per problem to cure my little aches an pains that this car gave me in the beginning.

First and foremost I want to inform the person reading this that if your gonna get a used car get a CarFax report on it.. It will save you alot of money and let you know if this car is really worth your time and attention. I am a very smart shopper and I know better than anyone else not to, but a USED MAZDA ANYTHING!..LOL. However, MX-6 LS V6 models are exempt from that rule only! These car are rare and POWERFUL (Manual tranny) if you find one in good condition snatch it up and nurse it back to health!. I have NO regrets from getting this car.. I have learned how to take care of her and I have had endless fun smoking many higher powered newer cars from a red light. I used to drive a 1992 Honda Prelude S with a Auto Tranny.. that Honda Prelude was VERY fun and QUICK (for a Auto tranny) I am glad that I have replaced it with this car. MX-6 LS V6 are really rare and powerful.. I luv mine to death. and the gas mileage is amazingly economic on the highway. I have the Premium 12 year old sound system inside my car that came with it when it was built years ago, It sounds Superb!.. all I did was change all the speakers to Pioneers..The Beige leather in my Mazda is to die for .. I know the person that had the car loved it because that leather is conditioned to the HILT!.. I thought it was Coach!..lol (for real) this car rocks!
