"Probably my favorite car I'll ever own"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Antenna went out at 75 K.

CV joint boots replaced around 75 - 80 K.

Timing belt replaced at 85 K.

Boost censor went out between 85 and 90 K.

Thermostat and main block "ring" or "sealer" replaced between 90 and 95 K.

Headlight control connectors went out around 100 K.

Most recently, distributor, oil pressure valve, and air hose went out.

General comments?

I fell in love with this car the moment I saw it, and especially when I sat in it for the first time. The seats are so comfortable, the most comfortable I've ever been in. The body style is rather unique, more so compared to what's on the road now. The overall performance has been good. It's pretty quite and smooth, with reasonable power. Unfortunately I have an automatic. The power really kicks in around 35 mph, where I get a boost of speed. Reliability-wise, the car was great for the first 2 years, then age started to affect the car, and fairly regular repairs followed. I have put in more money into the car than what it's worth. It seems in my current situation that I may have to part with my car and get a new ride, but I'm doing all I can to keep it and turn it to a project car, assuming I can afford to dump a considerable amount of money into it. I will regret parting with it, if I in fact do. If I do, the day I have the money to buy another one, I won't hesitate to do so, and fix it up.

What do you mean by the "boost sensor"?

Your ATX will also live much longer if you change the ATX fluid every 24k.
