1994 Mazda Protege DX review from North America
"An affordable, perky compact car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problems I ever had with my car was a squeaking noise at around 100,000 miles when I made a tight turn, which was fixed when it was inspected. The only other problem I had was that the emergency brake light was always on on the dash even though the brake wasn't on, but this didn't cause any real problems.
General comments?
I loved this car! I totaled it on black ice this week and I'm looking for another Protege. I loved the way it drove from the first time I drove it. It has excellent takeoff for a 4-cylinder and the steering and braking was excellent as well. All the controls in the car were easy to use and to reach. I had no complaints at all about this car, I recommend it highly.
