1989 Mazda RX7 FC3S review from Australia and New Zealand
"High performance at a high price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
About 7 months after I got the car I had to get the entire engine rebuilt.
12 months after that I needed a new gearbox (because I rebuilt it with more power then the old box could handle).
I have also needed to replace verious bits like fan belts (all the time), water pumps and brakes.
General comments?
The car was not much chop when I got it, it was a standard 13b with a 4 speed auto, but over time I have replaced bits here and there and in the process it is noe a 5 speed manual 13 turbo and have sorted out most of the problems and it now performs like no other car I have seen.
