1991 Mazda RX7 Coupe review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver seatbelt mechanism failed; rest is general maintenance; replaced clutch at 147,000 miles; OEM Bridgestone Potenza's RE-71 go about 45,000 miles; numerous headlights; throttle position sensor replaced at 155,000; engine oil pan gasket replaced under warranty.
General comments?
In general I consider this an excellent car (so much so I have owned 3. I have probably invested under $3000 in 9 years of ownership. Handling is excellent. Engine power is so-so but adequate. Ergonomics of the cockpit are perfect.
