1988 Mazda RX7 GXL review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I just got a 88 RX7 with 210,000 mils on it. The car runs perfectly. The handling is really suprisingly good. The suspension is tight and the car handles nearly as well as a Porsche. I have a couple of electrical problems like the anatenna doesn't go up or down. The lights on the dash some times go out and you have to hit it a little for them to go back on. The sunroof still works, but you need to push on it a little to get it to start moving. Also of course my windshield wipers only work on one speed. My brake lights some times don't work.
In summary the car is amazing in its handling and engine speed. The transmission is nice and the seats are really comfortable. Its like this car was built for the highway, when you get upto about 80mph you feel the engine just humming and happy.
I would suggest anyone to get this car.
General comments?
This car is what I expect from a compact sports car.
