"Would have been a top notch sports car in its day"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I have only had this car for a short amount of time and already things have started to go wrong with it for a start the master cylinder went due to brake fluid leaking in it second the tire arm snapped so every time I went to use the brakes the whole car would shake, but I suppose that is just ware and tear on an old car 3rd and final the air con just went.

General comments?

This car over all is good it has held up very well for a 20 year old car it is stock standard and has no mods at all not 1 so that is probably why it is very slow, but still it still has OK comfort for an old car, but the steering in it is stiff as it really give you a good shoulder work out after driving it for 4 hours. you really need to press your foot down on the brakes to get them to bite, but that is mainly because of the drum brakes at the back. also the rear seats are a bit of a waste of space you can't fit any people in the ack of them so I don't even know why they are there, but over all this is still a good car for its age it still looks good on the road and turns heads and the rotary noise sounds great taking off from the lights or driving along the highway.

I am planning on buying a 83' rx7. the body is in real good shape froom what I've seen. the guy said it has 200,000 miles on it, but he had a new engine in it in 97' and has only 30,000 miles on it. his price is $1900. he said he has changed things such as carburetor, intake manafold. I think the type of engine he put in was just a rotary engine. well I have a question... are these things fast at all? I mean like whats the top speed and are they quick???
