1990 Mazda RX7 Turbo II review from North America
"If it makes it faster, I gotta have it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I haven't had too many problems at all.
The clock in the dash goes on and off as it pleases.
The cold start flooding got me once and it took me an hour to get it going. It was quite a smoke show when it fired up.
General comments?
I love my car! I can't say it is perfect for me yet, but next year when the new turbo goes in, and that little rocket of a motor is spinning out 500hp and the rich guys with the Vipers know to look out for me in their mirrors, then it will be perfect. I'm glad so few are really capable of knowing how great a car can be. It makes me love mine ten fold.
ps. It's too bad the speedo only goes to 160mph, cause I got it there and I didn't even use the nitrous oxide.
