1986 Mazda RX7 GXL review from North America
"Absolutely brilliant"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The paint is miserable.
The transmission is clunky.
Many interior squeaks.
Clutch and brake master cylinder.
General comments?
Probably the best sports car you can get for the money.. it handles likes its on rails, its built well and still has modern styling, its quick for a mid eighties sports car, and who couldnt love a fuel cutoff at 7800 rpms!?
The car is an absolute pleasure to drive.. the fide is terrible for anyone who lives on bad pavement, dirt roads are out of the question, and the transmission is really clunky, but apart from that its wonderful and I will restore it too mint as time goes by..
Also to note, oil consumption is both low and reasonable, flooding is a once in a blue moon event, temperture wise never overheats even on hot summer days in arizona with the ac on, and is extremaly reliable..
