2007 Mazda RX8 Grand Touring review from North America
"Fun, corners like a Porsche, beautiful"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing. A small (1/6") piece of leather peeled off the steering wheel.
General comments?
I love this car. I have the Stormy Blue mica color after a nationwide search. The seat warmers are great. The stereo is great, I saw that Mazda added horsepower to the automatic version, and bought it. I have not been disapointed. Although you may not be burning rubber off the line, you can get good speed from zero using the paddle shifter or on the floor shifting also available. At high end, its pure joy to ride. Cornering is incredible in this car, and I will probably need tires soon, because I really put it to the test on the curves. not much room inside, but it can seat 4 and the storage compartments are well placed. Interior is well put together. I bought the satellite receiver for the radio, and the ipod connector. I recommend doing an after market Garmin Nuvi 360, its great and cheap online. its the best way to make up for the no compass rear view mirror, and to get yourself a blue-tooth wirelss phone (hands free).
