What things have gone wrong with the car?
Cruise Control is not functioning
Air vent levers broken, but were easily replaced DIY.
General comments?
This is a PHENOMENAL car! Got it as a throw away and I am thoroughly charmed! 31mpg at 60mph highway. Steady as a rock at 95mph. Engine turns a leisurely 2250 at 60 mph, very quiet on the highway in 5th gear.
This is not as quick or nimble as my Turbo S New Beetle
but the car keeps up in the most aggressive traffic.
The wheels are always glued to the road!
For a 15-year old car, it has great lines. Although, I am glad they didn't put in an
even bigger steering wheel!
Looking through the ads to find another 2.6 5-speed because one is NOT enough!
