"Amazing"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
We used it for years. When I think back I changed some parts, but nothing major.
General comments?
Well, only BOMB can destroy this car. And only a w124 is better. I own a w202 (C Class) and it's a joke comparing to 190.
You can service it if you want, and you can drive it without any service! I see one that mixed oil and water (blown head gasket due the overheating some carton in front of radiator in winter) and it went on for a whole two year like nothing had happened!!!
Also, chose only a face lift version-from 1989. Try a violet color, it's a beauty.
