1991 Mercedes-Benz 190 2.6 review from North America
"A pleasurable experience to drive and own"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Very few things have malfunctioned with this fine automobile, other than brake replacements, tires and regular oil changes.
Bushings on the alternator wore out at 120000 miles.
Air conditioner recharged at 130000 miles.
One of the two front radiator fans seized up at 130000 miles.
General comments?
Excellent vehicle.
25mpg + gas mileage in stop and go driving better on highways.
Very comfortable on long trips.
Solid safe feeling for a car this size.
Excellent handling and braking.
All Controls easy to reach and well thought out.
