2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Avantgarde review from Norway
"Unbeatable in its class"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing at all after more than 50000 km.
General comments?
- Amazing looks
- Safe and heavy
- Comfort unbeatable.
Stunning looks, I think it's the best looking station wagon of all. The 200K kompressor engine is good enough for such a heavy car, even with the tiptronic shift. I notice many C and E-classes have more negative marks on reliability, but these are stuffed with electrical extra equipment, such as electrical headrests (who needs it?). I bought mine intentionally with a little amount of extra fancey such extras and as excpected nothing at all have gone wrong or proved faulty, and I suspect nothing severe will ever go wrong with this car.
