1987 Mercedes-Benz E-Class review from North America
"Solid performer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had to replace door lock actuators.
Had to replace front and rear shocks.
Exhaust system corroded and must be replaced.
Had to replace drive flex disk.
Cruise control broken.
General comments?
Other than these part replacements, this is a fantastic car.
It has rock solid handling and good acceleration and braking.
Consumer reports said it was a "Best Buy" and it is.
I plan on driving it till it falls apart.
