There has been only one thing wrong with this car since we purchased it in May 2002. We cannot close the sky view sun roof. Recently we were riding with the sun roof open and when we went to close it, it would not close only click. We took it to a near by dealer and was told that because the sky views were in only a limited number of cars and that they were no longer made that the cost to repair would be $5,300.00.
No wonder they were only a few limited ones manufactured. Who wants to pay that much for a repair on a sun roof?
Seeing we have only had the car a few months this is the only problem we have had, and hope it will be the last. Who could afford anymore with this repair cost.

I didn't get my ml430 from the mb dealer, but the same day I bought it it wouldn't crank up twice it donsen't matter where I bought it from mb told me they don't care if I didn't
buy the carfrom them.
Stay away from the over gadgeting things.
